We had a chance to learn about different types of maps from an expert. This was a great introductory activity for our upcoming unit on maps.
In social studies, we looked at how families traveled, communicated, worked, and played together in the past as compared to the present. Students enjoyed sorting items into groups based on whether they were used in the past or present.
