Earth Day Project!

Thank you all so much for the donations.  We are going to be working on our Earth Day project Friday. Please remember that when dressing your child, we may get dirty.

Monday Morning

We are starting our day by taking care of our turkey babies!

Turkey Time!

Kindergarten students are currently studying life cycles.  As a special project, we are hatching turkey eggs! Our turkeys are due May 12th.  

Each day one student is responsible for turning the eggs in the morning and afternoon.  

We are using  An Egg is Quiet, as our mentor text.  Here are two students working on their books. 

Earth Day!

Today we learned about ways to take care of our Earth.  We received a letter from a third grade student persuading us to plant flowers. 

We decided to take on this project!  We knew we needed help, so we wrote a letter to our parents asking for donations to help us.
