We are starting our day by taking care of our turkey babies!

Kindergarten students are currently studying life cycles. As a special project, we are hatching turkey eggs! Our turkeys are due May 12th.

Each day one student is responsible for turning the eggs in the morning and afternoon.

We are using An Egg is Quiet, as our mentor text. Here are two students working on their books.

Today we learned about ways to take care of our Earth. We received a letter from a third grade student persuading us to plant flowers.

We decided to take on this project! We knew we needed help, so we wrote a letter to our parents asking for donations to help us.

We enjoyed our friends in Mrs. Lunsford's class sharing important information about severe weather.

When we came back from PE, we were surprised to discover that we had been visited by a leprechaun!!!

He had left quite a mess behind,
